Ballot effort seeks petition volunteers

A training session will be held for people who would like to volunteer as petition circulators for the Colorado End of Life Options Act at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave.

The ballot initiative would make it possible for people suffering an incurable illness with less than six months to live to ask their physician for medication to end their life.

If you would like to attend this session, email Juanita Ainsley at juanita.ainsley@aol.com.

To sign the petition or request more information about the initiative, email PatArlonLyon@gmail.com.
