Siddhartha topic of lecture series at FLC

The Life-Long Learning Lecture Series at Fort Lewis College presents “Siddhartha Revisited” at 7 p.m. Thursday in Room 130 of Noble Hall at the Fort Lewis College.

The presentation is free and open to everyone. Presenters will be Peter Bartol and Ross Park, semi-retired executives with extensive financial and technical backgrounds.

They will talk about Herman Hesse’s 1922 novel, Siddhartha, which has had a profound impact on American culture.

In a chance rereading of the classic, Bartol and Park gained new insight that raises serious questions about what we might expect from teachers and teachings in a life searching for understanding.
