The Southwest Chapter of the Colorado Native Plant Society will offer a field trip to Miramonte State Natural Area west of Telluride from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
The leader will be Peggy Lyon, who is the steward for Miramonte. Her botanical work is well known in Colorado, and she will share her expertise.
Participants will look for the extremely imperiled Cushion Bladderpod and other rare plants, plus try to discover new species to the area’s checklist.
This trip is free and open to the public, but participation is limited.

The Ignacio Community Library will offer “Basics of 3-D printing” at 3 p.m. June 6.

The Durango High Noon Rotary Club will meet from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the DoubleTree Hotel, downstairs, 501 Camino del Rio. The guest speaker Roger Salneraitis, executive director of the La Plata Economic Development, will discuss the new airport planning.
Lunch cost is $15.
The Old Fort Farm Stand will be on campus from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday outside of the Student Union.
This week will feature greens (spinach, arugula, kale, chard and mixed greens), radishes, walking onions, locally produced dryland pinto beans, baby beets, cilantro, basil, Arugula pesto, beet hummus and zucchini bread.
Grass-fed beef and local pork will also be available.
