Durango-based software development company, Galaxy Pay LLC, has released a new web-based keg-ordering application, with Steamworks Brewing as their first client. KegOrders.com streamlines the keg-ordering process, making it simple and secure for both breweries and their customers. The website is comprised of two parts: an e-commerce site where customers can shop for kegs from local breweries, and a brewery management site where brewers can manage keg sales and perform fulfillment duties.
While Steamworks is the only brewery currently using the web application, the eventual goal is to have a nation-wide network of microbreweries selling kegs of their craft beer.
There is no up-front charge. Breweries are only charged when a keg is sold through the platform. Payments are made through the e-commerce site. There is no point-of-sale integration necessary and brewery employees do not handle credit card data.
