Local First will host a La Plata Electric Association candidate forum from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the La Plata County Fairgrounds, 25 Main Ave.
Topics to be discussed will include principles of a rural electric cooperative, economic leakage, electric rates and local, renewable energy.
