Local libraries will host a “Give your energy to movement” class from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday via Zoom.
Nicole Clark from the La Plata County CSU Extension Office will lead an interactive webinar to learn the science and psychology behind why movement is so good for people. Once the brain is convinced that movement may lead to better health, people will have the opportunity to participate in a brief demonstration that shows how easy it is to get started.
The program is hosted in collaboration with Pine River Library, Durango Public Library, Ignacio Community Library and the Southwest La Plata Library District and is open to all.
