Steve Ilg, Durango yoga and fitness instructor, finished a victorious regional winter season of multi-sport Nordic racing.

Ilg finished first in his age group and fourth overall in his two most-recent races, Feb. 12 at the Leadville Loppet Nordic marathon classic race in Leadville, Colo. and Feb. 4 at the Alley Loop Nordic race in Crested Butte, Colo.

He was the “Grand Slam Winner” for finishing on the podium in all events Jan. 14-16 at the Chama Chile Ski Classic in Chama, N.M., placed second overall Jan. 8 at the Dust 2 Fat Tire Bike Race in Pagosa Springs, Colo. and placed first overall Jan. 7 at the Plumtaw Nordic freestyle race, also in Pagosa Springs.
