Adventurist Backpack Co., a Denver-based outdoor gear producer, launched a donation effort with nine retail locations, including Crow’s Closet and Backcountry Experience, to supply 25 meals to families in need across the country for each backpack purchased.
With help from Feeding America, the first 12 weeks provided 9,100 meals to families, with the goal to reach 12,000 by New Year’s Day.
