The first week of February is officially here and with it comes a busy local sports schedule. High school and college basketball continue its seasons, with college indoor track also in full swing. High school swimming and diving and wrestling are approaching the end of their seasons, with regionals and state in the next two weeks. Here are all the local sports events this upcoming week:
Fort Lewis College basketball:
FLC women’s basketball at New Mexico Highlands on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Records: The FLC women had their wost loss of the year on Tuesday at home against Adams State 79-49. They currently sit at 6-15 overall and 3-10 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play, while NMHU brings a 9-9 overall record and a 6-6 RMAC record into the matchup.

FLC men’s basketball at New Mexico Highlands on Saturday at 2 p.m.
Records: The Skyhawks have won six of their last seven games, including a 102-81 win on Tuesday at home against Adams State. FLC brings a 15-7 overall record and a 9-4 RMAC record into their game against New Mexico Highlands. The Cowboys sit at 8-12 overall and 1-11 in RMAC play.

Fort Lewis College women’s indoor track:
The Fort Lewis women will be heading to Albuquerque this Friday and Saturday for the New Mexico Collegiate Classic, hosted by the University of New Mexico at the Albuquerque Convention Center.
