High school and college winter sports are in full swing as the holiday season approaches. With Fort Lewis men’s soccer falling 1-0 to CSU Pueblo in the quarterfinals of the Division II Men’s Soccer NCAA Tournament, local fall sports have officially come to a close. The focus now shifts to sports like men’s and women’s basketball, wrestling, swimming and diving. Here is an overview of all the local sports action this coming week:
Fort Lewis College Basketball:
FLC men’s basketball at Adams State University on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
Records: FLC is 5-5 overall and 0-2 in conference play after an overtime 90-89 loss to Regis University last Saturday. Adams is 4-5 and also 0-2 in conference play after a 84-79 loss to Metropolitan State University of Denver last Saturday.
