Adison Jones and the Ignacio Bobcats’ boys basketball team finished last season third best in Class 2A, and Jones earned All-State honors as a junior. The senior post played a scrimmage Saturday at Bayfield. Jones and Ignacio High School will open their regular season at Pagosa Springs on Dec. 2.
Taed Heydinger and the Bayfield Wolverines hosted the Durango Demons and the Ignacio Bobcats in a boys basketball scrimmage Saturday at Bayfield High School, right where Heydinger and the Wolverines will open their regular season against Aztec on Dec. 4.
Guy Bay and the Durango Demons jumped into the 2014-15 boys basketball season with a scrimmage against Bayfield High School and Ignacio High School on Saturday at BHS. Bay and the Demons will scrimmage Pagosa Springs on Nov. 29 on the road, then will open their regular season with a tournament Dec. 11-13 at Ponderosa High School in Parker.
