Love on a Hanger makes finals Boutique Awards

Love on a Hanger of Cortez has been voted into the final round of the 2017 Boutique Awards in Colorado as a contender for Overall Boutique of the Year and Storefront Boutique of the Year.

The Boutique Awards is the only global recognition event for independent boutique retail owners in the fashion industry, hosted by The Boutique Hub. The awards recognize and celebrate boutiques in the U.S., Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom, in the categories of Storefront Boutique of the Year, Online Boutique of the Year, Children’s Boutique of the Year, Mobile Boutique of the Year, and State or Country Overall Boutique of the Year.

Love on a Hanger is among the Top 5 vote-getters in the categories of Storefront and Overall boutiques. Voting wraps up on Aug. 21 on www.theboutiqueawards.com.

Tiffani Waters opened Love on a Hanger in August 2011.

“Love on a Hanger feels incredibly fortunate to do what we are passionate about ... bringing women in Southwestern Colorado the fashion, styles and trends that we love,” owner Tiffani Waters said.

Love on a Hanger offers Cortez and the surrounding area with a selection of women’s apparel, denim, shoes and accessories. Love On A Hanger, at 34 E. Main St., is Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

“It is such an honor to have been chosen as a finalist for such an elite award,” Waters said. “I am truly grateful for all of the support and encouragement that I have had from the community and customers, it means the world to me and I am excited to see what the future holds.”
