Loyal to Durango, vote Koso for City Council

I am writing in support of Kip Koso for City Council. I have had the pleasure of knowing Koso since 2000 when we met as neighbors. I witnessed him raise his family here.

I have come to know and appreciate Koso’s passion and commitment to Durango. Whatever the program or activity, Koso is there, serving as an example of an involved and caring resident. Koso was raised in Durango. He “gets” Durango. His loyalties are to our community.

Koso’s dedication is evident in how he approaches, researches and deliberates issues. He is passionate about youths, veterans, education, culture and heritage. His perspective embraces diversity and I believe his focus and decisions will strive to always reflect what is best for Durango.

Koso has spent countless time and effort working in the community. He is a graduate of Leadership La Plata; involved with Big Brothers & Big Sisters including serving on its board; was a member of LEAD (the predecessor to the Economic Alliance); and serves on the board of Local First. He was awarded the Barbara Conrad Leadership Award in 2008.

Not sold yet? Check out his website kosoforcouncil.com or send him an email at KipKoso@me.com. Just a few minutes spent with Koso, and you will understand his perspective and how it would benefit our community.

When it comes to experience, commitment and knowledge, Kip Koso is a proven community leader. I ask you to join me and vote for Koso for City Council.
