The incumbent board members are selling out the LPEA membership by spending $200 million-plus to exit our electricity provider, Tri-State. This will, no doubt, raise the cost of electricity to all of us. There is absolutely no good reason for doing so.
We have been told that the exit from Tri-State is a done deal. Not so. At the Farm Bureau meeting, we were told by the CEO of Tri-State that the last day to get out of the exit of Tri-State is April 1, 2026. We need new and fresh leadership on the LPEA board. Please vote for the above slate. Thank you.
