Packets for candidates seeking to run in the La Plata Electric Association Board of Directors election are due Friday.
The ballot order for candidates will be set by March 18, said Hillary Knox, LPEA vice president of communications.
Mail-in ballots for the election will go out April 16 and are due May 16, when LPEA will hold its annual meeting at Pagosa Springs High School, 800 Eighth St., Pagosa Springs. Voters can turn in their ballots at the annual meeting. Mail-in ballots should be hand-delivered within eight days of the May 16 deadline.

The seats up for a vote are currently held by Bob Lynch, Archuleta County; Guinn Unger, north and east La Plata County; Rachel Landis, city of Durango; and Davin Montoya, south and west La Plata County.
LPEA has a 12-member board and provides electricity to about 34,200 members in La Plata County, Archuleta County and portions of Hinsdale, Mineral and San Juan counties.
