LPEA candidate petitions now available

Election petitions for four seats on the La Plata Electric Association Board of Directors are available for prospective candidates until the submission deadline at 1 p.m. March 14.

Petitions are available at LPEA offices in Durango, 45 Stewart St.; and Pagosa Springs, 603 S. Eighth St.; and online at www.lpea.coop.

Directors are elected for three-year terms.

Directors running for re-election include: Bob Formwalt (District 1), Kohler McInnis (District 2), Britt Bassett (District 3) and Karen Barger (District 4).

Ballots will be mailed in April, and election results will be announced May 12 at Sky Ute Casino Resort in Ignacio.
