LPEA customers encouraged to drop-off ballots in person

Residents have until Friday or can attend annual meeting Saturday

Ballots for the La Plata Electric Association Board of Directors election are due Friday.

LPEA encourages its members to drop off their ballot in person, as traditional mail may not arrive in time for the Friday deadline.

Ballots must be received by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 11.

In-person drop-offs are located at:

La Plata County Clerk and Recorder’s Office, 98 Everett St, Suite C, in Durango. LPEA offices, 45 Stewart St., in Durango; or 603 S. Eighth St., in Pagosa Springs.La Plata County Administration Building, 1101 East Second Ave., in Durango. Farmer’s Fresh Market, 565 Goddard Ave., in Ignacio.Bayfield Town Hall, 1199 Bayfield Parkway, in Bayfield.Members can also vote at LPEA’s annual meeting before 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Sky Ute Casino event center.
