La Plata Electric Association announced it contracted with National Rural Electric Cooperative Association Market Research Services to conduct telephone and online surveys to collect feedback about electricity practices from customers in La Plata and Archuleta counties.

Surveys will start July 30 and should take five minutes or less. More than 400 households will be randomly selected and surveyed through telephone calls or email requests. Telephone calls will be placed from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday; no calls will be made on Sundays.

LPEA encourages people to participate to help determine how to better serve its customers. All information during the survey is confidential.
