LPEA's search for CEO in progress

Munro

The process to replace Greg Munro, the retiring CEO of La Plata Electric Association, is moving along. But it will be two to three months before the job is filled, board members of the cooperative learned Wednesday.

Mycoff, Fry & Prouse LLC of Conifer was hired to find Munro’s successor. The firm now is interviewing about 10 candidates and will report to LPEA in a few weeks.

Four or five finalists from the larger group will interview face to face with LPEA members in Durango.

Munro’s last day will be Aug. 1.
