A 33-year-old man died Tuesday after falling from the roof of the Lofts at 1201 on 12th Street and Main Avenue.
Matthew Cullen Wilkin fell around 5 p.m. and was later pronounced dead at Mercy Regional Medical Center, said Lt. Ray Shupe with the Durango Police Department.
The cause of death is under investigation by the La Plata County Coroner’s Office.
The family declined to comment through Durango lawyer Daniel Gregory.
