Man dies northwest of Durango

Victim’s identity has not been disclosed

A 54-year-old man died from a self-inflicted gunshot shortly after 8 p.m. Saturday northwest of Durango.

La Plata County Coroner Jann Smith did not disclose the man’s name Sunday morning, and said she had no additional information about the death.
