Mancos Brewing Co. has announced that it’s now bottling beer for liquor-store distribution and beer to-go sales.

MBC held the grand opening of its Public House and taproom in October 2014, and in nine months has served more than 30 recipes on tap, along with several emerging as local favorites. Five of those favorites have become flagship standards and are set for bottle distribution in 22-ounce “bomber” bottles.

Three of the flagship beers are now being bottled – Dizzy Blonde Pale Ale, Pagan Porter and Mancos Gold. The same three will be featured at the Mancos Valley Summer Brewfest on Aug. 15 in Cottonwood Park in Mancos. Two other recipes – Ruff Shot Rye IPA and Mancos sh’Ale – will be released in August as well.

All available recipes can be purchased directly from the brewery. Dizzy Blonde and Pagan Porter are now available at Mancos Liquor and Log Cabin Liquor in Mancos. Dizzy and Pagan are also available at GST Liquors in Dolores and West Slope Liquors in Cortez. MBC will celebrate the release of its bottled beer with a sale during Mancos Days on July 23-25.

To celebrate this special occasion, MBC will also feature live music from local favorites Wake Up Laughing on Friday, July 24 and with The Porchlights on Saturday.

Friday will also be a special birthday celebration for guitarist Kevin Fraser of Wake Up Laughing.
