Colorado Municipal League director to lead session for town boards
The joint governance workshop for Mancos and Dolores town boards will take place at Dolores Town Hall Wednesday night.
The Mancos and Dolores town boards are getting together Wednesday night for a joint governance workshop.
The workshop will be led by Sam Mamet, the executive director of the Colorado Municipal League.
This session will focus on “effective governance” for city and town boards/councils, according to Dolores Town Manager Jay Ruybalid. Mamet will cover topics including public policy, professionalism, accountability, governance roles, ethics and high standard of conduct.
Wednesday’s workshop will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Dolores Town Hall, 420 Central Ave.
