The Mancos Valley Chorus is conducting a search for a choral director.
A degree or equivalent experience in a musical field and enthusiasm to lead this choral group of 30 to 35 adults of varying musical abilities is required. Patience and the willingness to work with and teach adults is also a must.
The salary range per season of 13 rehearsals (one each week) and five concerts (all in one week) for this part-time position is $1,080 to $1,350. This is up for negotiation, considering travel and experience.
There is a fall and spring season to which the chorus requires a commitment. Music for both seasons has already been chosen and rehearsal CDs have been recorded.
