COLORADO SPRINGS – A popular hiking route near Manitou Springs is open after three months of repair work.
The Manitou Incline reopened Friday, and hikers immediately began climbing the route, which rises more than 2,000 feet in about a mile.
The incline closed in August for the second phase of a multi-million dollar improvement and stabilization project. The second phase focused on the lower level.
