I am an enthusiastic supporter of Sweetie Marbury, and hope that you will also vote for her in the upcoming election for City Council. As an incumbent, her knowledge of the workings of city government, and of city-county relations, should be preserved. Sweetie is tireless in her advocacy of the people of Durango and its neighborhoods. She does her research on issues facing the council and speaks out for the citizens of our community, especially those of low-income or whose voices are not always heard. Her attendance at meetings and civic functions gives her both visibility and accessibility, and her positive attitude about Durango makes her a true ambassador for all of us.
