We would like to endorse the re-election of Sweetie Marbury and Dick White to the Durango City Council. We have known Sweetie and Dick for quite some time, know they love Durango and are extremely committed to our community. They are caring people who have demonstrated their willingness to listen and collaborate during their time in office. They are both thoughtful and informed about issues affecting Durango, the county and the state; their experience will only make them more effective in the next term. A ‘yes” vote for Marbury and White in April will benefit all who call Durango home.
