New STEAM Learning Checkout Kits: “General Lab” a science lab activity set. Conducting real, hands-on experiments. Learn the names of science tools and broaden understanding of science terms. For ages 4 and older. “Chemistry” kit contains real lab equipment, including three beakers, a high temperature thermometer, a digital timer, colored safety goggles, a chalkboard lab mat and chemical reagents. “Program in a Bag” kits: Pick up a free “Program in a Bag” kit. The “Learn to Knit” includes a list of resources to get started and the needles, yarn and pattern needed to knit an easy potholder. The “Winter Seed Sowing” kit includes information about how to start seeds outside in the winter by making mini-greenhouses out of old containers, soil, a recycled container and seeds.
