Rebecca Mars is a new broker associate at Bayfield Realty.
Mars began her real estate career in 1999 where she started out as a data administrator and was quickly promoted to corporate administrator of a large real estate firm in Southern California. After missing the mountains and her family, she moved back home to La Plata County in 2002 and began working as an executive assistant to the managing broker and owner of a real estate office where she furthered her knowledge in marketing and business development. She completed her business degree in 2010 through the University of Phoenix.
When she is not busy pursuing her remodeling and interior decorating hobbies, or spending time with her husband and three children, she enjoys working with the youth or under-served populations of our community. She founded and ran a local food bank in 2012-13, just completed her first season as a youth soccer coach for Bayfield Parks and Rec in the spring of 2015, and can often be found volunteering in one of her children's schools.
Mars is looking forward to extending her love and knowledge of the community to those who want to buy or sell residential property and vacant land or need property management services.
