Wow! I was going south in my opinion about changing name of Fort Lewis College. Avery Martinez (Herald, Nov. 27) converted my thinking.
After hearing the history behind the name, I know he is correct in keeping the name of the Fort. To change the name would be racist.
Do not forget the tears of the Utes. Fess up and do the right thing because it’s the right thing to do.
