Tuesdays, 2 p.m.: Baby story time. Interactive activities with music, stories, finger-plays, counting rhymes and playtime for infants to 18-month-old children. Parents and caregivers are welcome.

Thursdays, 10:30 a.m.: Toddler story time. Stories, songs, rhymes and other activities for children ages 2-3. Story time lasts 30 minutes with crafts after.

Fridays, 10:30 a.m.: Preschool story time. Stories, songs, rhymes and other activities for children ages 3-5. Story time lasts 30 minutes with crafts after.

May 17, 3:30 p.m.: Read to Rover. New and independent readers (ages 5 and older) can read to Clare, a trained therapy dog.

May 18, 3:30 p.m.: STEAM lab: Explore the science of balance and make a fun balancing robot to bring home (ages 5 and older).

May 21, 7 p.m.: Books and Brews: A nontraditional book club and discussion about books people love, hate or can’t live without at Animas Brewing Co., 1560 East Second Ave.

Fridays, 10 a.m.: Caregiver Café. Visit with other parents, grandparents and caregivers during this open playtime for all ages in the library Imagination Room. Refreshments provided.

Fridays, 3:30 p.m.: Magic battle time: Build your own deck and challenge your friends or bring your own deck and see how it fairs against others.

May 17, 10 a.m.: The Friends of the Library monthly meeting.

May 18, 1 p.m.: Home-school Lego time. For home-schoolers who want to create and meet new friends; attendees are encouraged to bring Legos, Duplos, cool ideas and parents.

May 19, 10 a.m.: Annual plant exchange.

May 19, 1 p.m.: Pokémon Go Forest Lakes community meet up. Enjoy Pokémon Go at the Forest Lakes Recreation Center.

May 19, 6 p.m.: Do-it-yourself decorated dinnerware at the Billy Goat Saloon. Participants will customize their own dinnerware. Materials provided.

May 21, 7 p.m.: Classic Movie Monday: “The Lady Gambles” (1949).

May 22, 10 a.m.: Free card-making at the Senior Center: Create two handmade cards at the Bayfield Senior Center, 111 W. South St.

May 25, 12:30 p.m.: Senior Center outreach. Library staff reach out to seniors by bringing books, audio-books and DVDs to the Bayfield Senior Center.
