I just finished reading the story headlined “Minorities are overrepresented throughout Colo.’s criminal process” (Herald, May 2).
The thrust was that minorities are disproportionately imprisoned in Colorado.
Although the author went out of her way to avoid the obvious, is there even a tiny chance that minorities commit a disproportionate amount of the crime in Colorado? As the Californians would say – duh.
