Seasoned Montezuma County resident, JoDee Powers, will join Montezuma Community Economic Development Association, a resource that assists businesses with growth, to replace Chelsea Jones as economic development specialist.
Powers has worked for the past eight years to mobilize communities around local economies through Livewell Montezuma, which gave residents more access to healthy foods and helped the county examine self-sustaining food systems.
