At times, our city councils are not transparent and may not represent the residents of our neighborhoods, but appear to represent real estate/developer interests.
Local community advocacy groups have to continually defend our neighborhoods against uncontrolled and increased density, large hotels, vacation rentals and creeping commercialization.
Dave McHenry supports mixed-use development to provide more housing opportunities in town. He supports the expansion of accessory dwelling units in EN-4 and EN-5.
Dave is an advocate of a habitability code for rental properties, to insure the safety of both the inhabitants and their neighbors. In addition, he supports a fiscally responsible effort to improve the infrastructure in our community.
