After the Ignacio Bobcats’ girls soccer team scored its first two goals of the season in a loss this week at Pagosa Springs, the well ran dry.
Alamosa mercy-ruled Ignacio 10-0 on Thursday in Alamosa.
“They’re a good team,” said Ignacio High School head coach Oscar Cosio, who referenced the Mean Moose 1-0 victory over a good Bayfield team recently.
“We didn’t play so well; that didn’t help.”
IHS (0-7, 0-7 Region 5) will play at 4 p.m. Friday at Ridgway.
