Three events are scheduled in the Pine River Valley to commemorate Memorial Day on Monday.
A Veteran Memorial Service and Vietnam Commemoration will be held at 10 a.m. at the Pine River Cemetery on County Road 501. A lapel pin will be available for all who served in the military from 1955 to 1973.
The Southern Ute Veterans Association will honor all who served at 10 a.m. at the Southern Ute Veterans Memorial Park.
At 11 a.m., a Memorial Day service will be held at the Allison-Tiffany Cemetery on County Road 329. Music and a commemoriation of veterans will be featured. Everyone is invited to the event, organizers say.
