Mercy Health Foundation has named Lexie Stetson-Lee as senior philanthropy officer, effective June 8. She will lead the foundation’s efforts to support the vision and priority initiatives of Mercy Regional Medical Center through community and philanthropic support.
Stetson-Lee will work closely with stewarding current donors and engaging new prospects to maximize philanthropic opportunities in Durango and surrounding areas of SW Colorado. She will also oversee the Mercy Health Foundation board of directors, and partner closely with Mercy senior leadership to strengthen philanthropic support of their mission and vision within these communities.
Prior to joining Mercy Health Foundation, Stetson-Lee worked in the nonprofit sector for 14 years. She has a broad scope of experience in philanthropy, STEM programming, operations and business administration.
Stetson-Lee received her master of science from the University of Wisconsin with a focus on educational policy and nonprofit leadership. She holds a bachelor’s degree in religious studies from Kenyon College. She is the Chair of the City of Durango’s Community Relations Commission and an active volunteer.
