Mercy Home Health has been named a Top Agency of the 2016 HomeCare Elite, placing it among the top 25 percent of home health agencies in the nation.

For more than 10 years, HomeCare Elite has annually identified the top 25 percent of Medicare-certified agencies and highlighted the top 100 and top 500 agencies overall. Mercy Home Health has been recognized as a top 100 agency five times, as a top 500 agency four times and among the top 25 percent of agencies once.

Tina Gallegos, director of Mercy Home Health, credits Mercy Home Health’s staff and culture with the agency’s ability to achieve recognition as one of the HomeCare Elite.

Winners are ranked by an analysis of publicly available performance measures in quality outcomes, best practice implementation, patient experience, quality improvement and consistency, and financial performance.

Out of 9,406 agencies considered, 2,353 were recognized on the 2016 HomeCare Elite winners list.
