Mercy Hospital earns ‘A’ safety grade

Mercy Hospital received an ‘A’ Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade for its achievements of protecting patients from harm and error.

This is the 14th time the hospital has earned this grade since 2013, Mercy’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Christopher Hudson said.

“This is all the more impressive in light of the ongoing pandemic and demonstrates their commitment to our community and sustained excellence in health care,” he said.

The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is a national peer-reviewed hospital grading system. It is the only system that specifically grades hospitals’ ability to prevent harm and error.
