Mercy Regional Medical Center invites members of the community to a Blue Christmas service at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Mercy Chapel, 1010 Three Springs Blvd.
The holidays may not be the most wonderful time of the year for people suffering loss, and Mercy’s Blue Christmas Service is designed for those who are grieving.
The service will be led by Mercy chaplains who will offer readings, a time of remembrance, live music and a healing message by a guest speaker.
The service is for anyone who finds the Christmas season difficult because of the death or estrangement of a loved one, unemployment, loneliness, illness, loss of a pet or other hardship.
