A free presentation, “Healthy Bones, Healthy Body: Your Guide to Fracture Prevention,” will be offered to the community at 6:30 p.m. May 24, at Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave.
Orthopedic surgeon Kim Furry, physician assistant Clayton LaBaume, and physical therapist Luke Angel will explain age-related factors that increase the risk of fall-related fractures and suggest simple ways to minimize risk.
Hors d’oeuvres will be served during a 30-minute reception before the presentation starts.
