Van Os specializes in general gastroenterology. He believes it is important to listen carefully to his patients and thoroughly address their concerns.
Van Os earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry at the Rice University in Houston. He earned his doctor of medicine degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and completed his residency and internship in internal medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Van Os completed his fellowship training in gastroenterology and advanced therapeutic endoscopy at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
He is a member of many professional societies including the American College of Physicians, American Gastroenterological Association and American College of Gastroenterology. Van Os has been named “Top Doc” in gastroenterology for nine years in a row in Colorado Springs.
