The National Park Service recently announced 2018 free-admission days for national parks, including Mesa Verde National Park: Jan. 15, Martin Luther King Jr. Day; April 21, first day of National Park Week; Sept. 22, National Public Lands Day; and Nov. 11 Veterans Day.
“Fee-free days offer a wonderful time for new visitors to become familiar with the park and for return visitors to reacquaint themselves,” Cliff Spencer, Mesa Verde National Park Superintendent, said in a news release.
Free-admission days do not cover camping or tour fees.
