Methodist Women grateful for bazaar support

November’s 50th Methodist Women’s Bazaar at Summit Church is now history, but its spirit lives on through the proceeds that benefit charitable causes in the community and mission beyond. It does take a village of givers to make a fundraiser successful, and the Methodist Women have deepest gratitude to the wonderful vendors, Crafty Ladies and those who brought baked goods, plants and home treasures for sale.

Noteworthy generous contributions came from Sari and her Yellow Carrot staff, Sandra Mapel and Glenda Ehrig. South City Market was supportive. Of course, there would not have been thousands of dollars to share over five decades without the shoppers, who looked forward to the opening of the holiday season: We thank you! The amazing church staff crews, who set up and moved major furniture with help from family and friends, were headed by Robb Bourdon, Ashleigh Ewing and Wade Griffith, to make bazaar space available throughout the building. The church was readied for the Saturday evening service in lightning speed.

Our joy is in the giving, and so many made this possible. May the blessings you have given to others come back to you a thousand fold. Faith, hope, love and joy to all this holiday season!
