Village Social and Miller Middle School PTO will host a “Screenagers” showing and parent education night at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Middler School, 2608 Junction St.
The event will feature a presentation by Adam Ahern of Village Social about a balanced approach to raising children with technology. The new “Screenagers” documentary will follow at 7 pm.
This film focuses on the increasing levels of stress, anxiety and depression experienced by today’s young people. It sets out to help parents and schools understand how they can empower teens to overcome mental health challenges and build emotional agility, communication savvy and stress resilience.
