Moore’s slightly smaller Strater Hotel

Adam Moore, 15, said it took seven months to build his one-twentieth scale Lego model of the Strater Hotel. Moore said he designed it himself, using Lego Digital Designer, then enlisted the help of friends, fellow scouts and family members to complete the project. Adam is the son of Robert and Loni Moore of Colorado Springs.

Adam Moore, 15, of Colorado Springs decided to make a Lego model of the Strater Hotel for his Boy Scout Eagle Project to a one-twentieth scale. Moore and his dad, Robert Moore, reassemble parts of the model after transporting it Friday from Colorado Springs at the Strater Hotel in downtown Durango, 699 Main Ave. Adam’s mom is Loni Moore.
