The duties of the La Plata County treasurer are to collect taxes, disburse that revenue to the taxing districts and invest the county’s money.

As a certified public accountant, I want a treasurer with a good financial background.

I will vote for Allison Morrissey, the only qualified candidate with a degree in accounting, an MBA and solid business experience in financial and investment consulting.
