A Mother's Day parade of cars and well-wishers drove past the Four Corners Health Care Center on Friday waving to residents and staff gathered out front.
Twenty-five residents and numerous staff members at Four Corners Health Care Center gather for a Mother’s Day parade on Friday along Junction Street. About 100 cars, motorcycles, cyclists, a Los Pinos Fire Protection District engine and a Durango Police Department cruiser participated in the procession. “We usually do a huge event inside for Mother’s Day, but because of the current situation, we couldn’t. So Amber Cibrian, our activities director, planned this instead,” said Christy Bradley, administrator at Four Corners. The parade also was held at the Cottonwood Inn Rehab and Extended Care Center in Three Springs. Photo by Jerry McBride/Durango Herald
