Logan Johnston with Mountain Bike Specialists recently attended the Turbo Essential Tech Training at Specialized Bicycle Components University. This class teaches new strategies to service e-bikes (also called pedal assist bikes). Johnston learned about each bike and its special features. He replaced a motor, learned about battery life and maintenance of batteries, as well as the mission control application.
The goal of this training was to develop skills that will benefit customers. MBS believes in investing in continued education because they believe advanced knowledge is an essential component of quality service.
Mountain Bike Specialists’ retail store started out as a general sporting goods store in 1968, and is celebrating 51 years of doing business in Durango.
