Mountain Middle School is one of the Colorado Charter School Institute’s highest performing schools, earning a “distinction” accreditation rating that will be confirmed this month by the state board of education.
The academic portion of CSI’s “distinction” rating is based on students’ performance on state tests that all Colorado public schools are required to administer each year in reading, math, writing and science.
Mountain Middle School is one of only a few CSI schools to earn a “distinction” accreditation rating this fall. CSI – which authorizes Mountain Middle School – assigns a rating and accredits its schools each year based on a rigorous school performance framework and a summary of data from the previous school year. The framework also takes into account sound financial and organizational practices.
